Interviewed by Deutsche Welle BGA Advisor Ben Hodges sharply criticized the US troop withdrawal from Germany. “The withdrawal is a huge gift to the Kremlin” he said but Russia has done nothing to deserve this. Gen. Hodges considered the withdrawal less a strategic and more a political decision which will take months before relevant structures will be withdrawn from Germany, he stated.
