Berlin Global Advisors (BGA) is pleased to announce that Senior Director Yael Flam has been selected for the third cohort of the Young Leaders Network for the Defense of Democracy, an initiative established by the Axel Springer Freedom Foundation.

The network brings together emerging leaders from politics, business, media, civil society, and defense who are committed to strengthening democratic institutions and values. It also fosters dialogue with journalists and democracy advocates who have experienced authoritarian rule firsthand.

Through cross-sector dialogue, the exchange of personal experiences, and international cooperation, the initiative aims to build lasting partnerships that contribute to defending democratic values and strengthening democratic resilience.

Against the backdrop of growing geopolitical tensions and increasing pressure on democratic freedoms, international networks of this kind are becoming more important than ever.

Yael Flam’s selection underscores her commitment to international dialogue and the defense of democratic values. BGA congratulates her on this recognition and looks forward to the fresh perspectives, insights, and connections she will bring to the firm’s work.
